A-level results day for 2024 is scheduled for Thursday, August 15th. However, in Scotland, SQA results will be released to students on Tuesday, August 6th, 2024.

Results for A levels are typically released at 9:30 am, while AS level results come out at 11 am.

After putting in all the hard work and completing your exams, you’ve had a well-deserved summer break. Now, it’s time to prepare for Results Day 2024. We’ve compiled everything you need to ensure you’re fully prepared for A-level results day!

In the days leading up to Results Day, it’s essential to review your insurance and clearing options. Make sure to gather phone numbers so you can quickly reach out if your results aren’t as expected. Also, consider alternative courses you’d be interested in and have them ready.

On the big day, here’s what you should do:

  1. Log in to UCAS Track or check your grades to see if you’ve secured a place at your firm or insurance university. If you’ve met the requirements, everything should be confirmed, and you can start preparing for university life! 
  2. If you didn’t secure a place at your firm or insurance university, don’t worry! Start contacting universities on your clearing list to see if they’ll accept you with your grades. With a little effort, you’ll likely secure a spot. Once you do, make accommodation arrangements.
