1) Visit Bristol Zoo
Bristol Zoo was opened almost 200 years ago, making it one of the oldest zoos in the world. The zoo plays an active role in conservation and takes part in breeding programmes designed to aid the repopulation of certain endangered species including Lemurs. Taking place outside of the academic year during the summer this international hot air balloon is highly worth making the trip back to Bristol if you’re not already staying there. Over 150 hot air balloons take to the air for a truly breathtaking experience.

5) Visit Leigh Woods
